Higher Ed

As much as we try to help the guests at the B&B block out the harsh world of everyday events, they still creep in.  This is a nice town to visit and a great place to live, but sometimes things go wrong.

Take the local school system for instance.  When the high school principal retired the district administrators rallied to find the best replacement and hired him.  The new principal was a rising light in education, a man with a future that he was willing to share with his new school.

What he didn’t share was his first-hand knowledge of the DUI process and that he was driving with a suspended license.  After he was pulled over for driving suspended he completed the trifecta by getting stopped again.  This was after a football game with a bag of weed in his car.

The local paper told most of the story, but not what his wife said when he broke the news at home.
